ACUPUNCTURE.

Acupuncture is a complementary therapy derived from ancient Chinese medicine. Acupuncture therapists believe that sometimes, for a variety of environmental or lifestyle reasons Qi (pronounced ‘Ch-ee’), or vital energy in a person, becomes blocked leading to symptoms of pain and illness.

Kerry Pink, our Acupuncturist based at our Chichester clinic, practises Five Element Acupuncture (Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal & Water) which focuses directly on your individual needs. Each treatment is planned to treat the root cause, not the symptom. This is the very essence of Five Element acupuncture and the reason why the healing effects can be so profound and complete, allowing the body to reach full well-being.

At The Boxgrove, we use Acupuncture to treat a range of both physical and emotional conditions. It works with both acute and chronic pain, for example, back pain, muscular aches, stress symptoms, post surgical concerns, gynaecological & fertility problems, and digestive dysfunction. On the emotional side it treats anxiety, depression, exhaustion, insomnia, addictive behaviours and weight loss.

The treatment consists of fine, sterile needles being painlessly inserted into certain points around the body releasing blocked energy and restoring balance. It is a gentle and restorative therapy which is used to guide the body back to good health.

If you’re experiencing specific symptoms, or are interested in improving your general health, we have appointments available Monday to Friday at a time to suit you. Get in touch with us today on 01243 696 630 or email reception@theboxgrove.com to make your Acupuncture appointment at our Chichester clinic.
