We’re pleased to be able to offer Yoga classes at our Chichester studio. Our Yoga classes strengthen the mind and body, using breath to flow through sequences that focus on opening the full body – with particular awareness to the shoulders and hips and strengthening the back.
£12.50 per person per class
Ayumi was trained in Ashtanga-Vinyasa Yoga by the Himalayan Yoga Valley School and she is certified and registered with Yoga Alliance Professionals.
Before discovering yoga, she suffered from severe backache and was subsequently hospitalised. She could not walk, move, or look after herself for some time. It was a very challenging period. After recovering, she was then involved in a car accident and suffered from a whiplash injury that caused her considerable lower back pain. It was at this point that she decided to take up yoga. She was impressed with the results and with daily yoga practice her condition improved significantly both physically and mentally and its effects were life-changing. It was at that point that she decided to become a yoga teacher so that she could share the benefits of her experience with others.
Her classes include practising breathing techniques (pranayama), physical movements (asana) and deep relaxation (savasana). Each of these three elements invites to connect both body and mind. Her classes provide a safe and warm environment, accessible to everyone, creating a sense of stability and calm, but also an invitation to explore. They also help you develop strength, flexibility, stamina and to cultivate an all-round feeling of well-being with a focussed mind.
