THE BOXGROVE CLINIC HAS RE-OPENED ITS DOORS

After careful consideration, The Boxgrove Clinic has re-opened its doors for Physiotherapy appointments from the 1st June.

Having diligently followed recommendations by the World Health Organisation, our Government and our Professional Bodies and Regulators we will be adopting a series of COVID 19 safety measures to ensure that our patients and our team are protected.

We are fortunate that The Boxgrove Clinic is a spacious building with multiple entrances that will allow us to carefully programme safe access. We have invested in the appropriate PPE and sanitising methods and we will ensure that all patients are screened before their appointments. We are in the process of preparing a short video that explains the approach and we will publish this and our safeguarding policy on our website in due course.

We are now well prepared and confident that we can operate safely and we are therefore delighted to be open again. The team are really looking forward to welcoming you back to The Boxgrove Clinic. We’ve missed you.

To make an appointment please call us on 01243 696630. Alternatively, if you would prefer to send us an email please contact us at reception@theboxgrove.com

Best wishes

The Boxgrove Team

TREATMENT DURING COVID-19 PANDEMIC

The Boxgrove are committed to delivering experienced care during these extraordinary times, as well as ensuring that you our clients are safe from COVID-19.

These are the measures we are taking to protect you, your families, our team & the wider community:

Currently we are not providing face to face treatment, except for Physiotherapy or Podiatry in exceptional, acute circumstances.

Where possible, we encourage all of our clients to continue with their appointments remotely. We can provide new diagnosis, treatment advice, rehabilitation and exercise classes to ensure you keep fit & injury free. This can be as a telephone consultation or a 1-2-1 video link via Facetime, Skype, What’s App or Zoom.

Please call the clinic for a telephone or video consultation. Reception will book you an appointment time. 10 minutes before the scheduled time, Reception will call you for payment. At the scheduled time the clinician will call you for your appointment.

If using private medical insurance for your treatment please let us know when booking.

Should you need to come to clinic for essential treatment please adhere to the following guidelines:

Please do not go into Reception. Wait in your cars until your appointment time and your clinician will come and get you. You will be taken through the nearest door and directly into your treatment room.

We will be scheduling any in-clinic appointments carefully in order to minimise the number of clients in the clinic at any given time.

We are whole-heartedly committed to social distancing guidelines as outlined by Public Health England, both in our professional & personal lives.

Our clinical hygiene is strict and will continue to be so. Each clinician takes responsibility for all treatment areas & studio equipment before and after use with each client. All common areas are cleaned in-between clients.

When booking an appointment please inform us as to you & your families’ current health status. Please do NOT come into clinic with any COVID-19 or cold symptoms and please only come into clinic if you are adhering to social distancing guidelines.

When entering the clinic please use hand sanitizers and wash your hands before and after treatment.

Our aim is to prevent the virus spreading and keep you and our wider community as safe as possible. We therefore ask that before coming to the Boxgrove you are confident you are abiding by all current guidelines with regards to COVID-19.

Should you have any concerns or questions please don’t hesitate to call 07957 638645  or email us reception@theboxgrove.com

Wishing you good health

Skiing Before I Could Walk

In our fast-paced, noisy lives, it is rare that something makes you sit up and listen. Clare Balding was commanding the radio as I drove past Chichester train station… ‘and here I am walking the Centurion Way, in Chichester, with Anne and Matt Masson’. I sat bolt upright and listened intently. (more…)

10 reasons why Reformer Pilates is for you!

You may have walked into The Boxgrove recently and wondered what the torture racks in our studio are & whether, in fact, you have stumbled into a scene from 50 shades. Not at all… as much as we would all love a cameo alongside Dorian Gray, we have in fact ungraded our studio with a number of impressive Pilates Reformer machines and accessories, the benefits of which are multiple.

Here, Trish Skinner, one of our Physiotherapists at The Boxgrove, gives you ten good reasons as to why you should give Reformer Pilates a go and sign on to the ever-growing list of celebrities and locals who swear by this discipline.
