A personal trainer is a fitness professional involved in exercise prescription and instruction. They motivate clients by setting goals and providing feedback and accountability to clients.

Tig Cavahlo

Tig’s goal is that each client leaves their personal training session feeling strong, positive and energised. He has 23 years experience in the leisure industry, as both instructor and manager and has spent the last 16 years working as a personal trainer.

Tig uses a calm,systematic approach and believes his clients should achieve results safely, within a realistic timescale. He focuses on the individual’s specific requirements, be that general fitness, weight loss, specific sports or pre/post operative injury rehabilitation.

Alongside his work as a personal trainer he has spent time as an associate lecturer with the School of Health Studies at Chichester University and co-wrote the GP referral protocol for West Sussex Health Authority.

Nicola Hoare

Nicola has been a class instructor and Personal trainer for over 17 years. Working at Goodwood as Fitness manager for over 8 years. Freelance since 2004 has allowed her to work with all range of ages and abilities which is varied and very rewarding. Her main focus is on overall wellbeing and lifestyle choices. The main aim is to get her participants working hard but enjoying what they do so it becomes a habit. During 1-2-1 sessions Nicola looks at every individual and tailors their programme to their particular needs. Classes with Nicola are fun, dynamic and result driven, with focus on posture and balance.
